§1 · The one-line promise

Not more advice. Recognized evidence.

Albi turns real effort into credible evidence. We do not make student life decisions for them, we do not sell recommendation letters, we do not fabricate experiences.

§2 · Who we serve

  • Default: international students aged 18 or older — university, master's, early researcher, early career-explorer.
  • Under 18: separate redline (§3.15) applies.
  • No geographic or nationality cap. “International” means international: China, India, Korea, Southeast Asia, Latin America, etc.
  • Founding cohort: Case #001 Xiayutong (CS Career Proof) · Case #002 Hanhe Fang (Bio PhD Research) · Case #003 TBD (non-Chinese international student, per §3.14).

§3 · The 15 redlines (CI-enforced grep)

For each redline, the CI runs a phrase grep on app/ and on the built out/. If any forbidden phrase appears in copy, schema, or test fixture, the build does not ship. The same grep runs on the live origin after deploy.

§3.2 · NO_OUTCOME_GUARANTEE

§3.2

We do not guarantee admission, visas, OPT, CPT, H-1B, offers, PhD acceptance, or any third-party outcome. The phrase grep on every build forbids '包留美', '包 offer', '保证录取', '保证签证', '100% offer', '包过'.

§3.3 · NO_LIFE_DECISION_SUBSTITUTION

We do not make the student's life decisions for them. Every path output ships marked 'Reference, not recommendation.'

§3.4 · NO_IMPERSONATION

We do not impersonate the student with professors, employers, or schools. Outreach templates exist; the student sends them.

§3.5 · NO_GHOSTWRITING

We do not ghostwrite essays, applications, assignments, or recommendation letters. Structure review and polish, yes — authorship, no.

不代写论文 / 作业 / 申请文书 / 推荐信。可以做 structure review + 润色，不能 ghostwrite。

§3.6 · NO_FABRICATION

§3.6

We do not fabricate internships, research, employment, or projects. Every line of a contribution log maps 1:1 to a verifiable artifact. The contribution_attestations table has an append-only trigger that CI verifies on every migration.

§3.7 · NO_REVIEW_CIRCUMVENTION

We do not advise how to evade visa-review, social-media review, or political-sensitivity review processes.

§3.8 · RECOMMENDATION_NOT_FOR_SALE

Recommendation letters are not priced, not packaged, not promised. Albi produces three things only: contribution log, contribution attestation, evidence packet. An academic recommendation is an independent scholar's call, based on the evidence packet. Attestation is a fact; recommendation is a judgement. The two are strictly separated in our schema.

§3.9 · MINOR_GUARDIAN_INVOLVEMENT

If a minor is involved (rare — Albi defaults to 18+), the guardian must co-onboard and a separate privacy boundary applies.

Every policy claim carries a timestamp and an m590 evidence source. If a source is stale (>30 days), the UI says so on its face.

Every mentor, employer, and case resource carries an evidence level L0-L5. Nothing below L3 can enter a paid Evidence Atlas — no exceptions.

§3.13 · NO_MILLENNIUM_PREDICTION

Historical figures from m602/m604 are reference, never individual prediction. We never say 'da Vinci did X at 18 so you should.' We say 'in a similar situation, da Vinci chose X — this is one reference point in your decision space.'

§3.14 · NO_SOLE_CHINESE_BRAND

Albi is not branded as a Chinese-international-student-only platform. Our outward positioning is 'international student evidence and pathway system.' The founding cohort must contain at least one non-Chinese student (Case #003).

§3.15 · LAW_MINOR_ALBI

Default service is 18+. Anyone under 18 does not enter the public portfolio, does not receive a public attestation, and their data stays internal. CI checks the repo for stray minor-specific fields.

§3.16 · PAYMENT_FIREWALL

Payment buys coaching, structure review, and supervised-task access. Payment does not buy evidence strength. Reviewers are blind to whether a student paid, what tier they paid for, and whether they may renew. If the reviewer decline rate falls below 30%, an external audit fires automatically.

付费 ≠ 证明强度。Reviewer 双盲：不知学生付费状态、付费等级、是否要续费。Reviewer decline rate ≥30% 底线，低于触发 m562 风格外部审计。

§4 · Three-zero self-audit

Every iteration ends with three checks:

  • Zero pollution. Did we touch the main repository of any ecosystem dependency (m566, m602, m604, m590, m554, m200, m495, m8201)? If so, the diff is reverted.
  • Zero boundary. Did the iteration touch any of the seven owner-only actions (git push, sudo, crontab/systemctl/docker, rm -rf, main-repo edit, charter edit, outbound message to a real student)? If so, it stopped.
  • Zero residue. Did we leave any “in-progress” loose ends? If so, they are sedimented to the right location or removed from the iteration scope.

If any of the three fails, the next iteration does not begin until the failure has its own audit document.

Before a Founding Case enters the case library, the case_consent record must contain:

  • case_visibility — internal_only | anonymized_public | named_public
  • consent_status — must be written
  • redaction_required — school, visa status, employer, family finance, health, immigration timeline
  • revocable — true (immediate public-use stop on revocation; internal record kept for methodology)
  • outcome_tracking_period — 36 months
  • outcome_tracking_compensation — $50–200 per follow-up
  • case_access_fee_split — Founding Cases share case-access fees up to 5× their own contribution

§6 · Task pool supply contract

The number of students Albi onboards in any month is bounded by the supply of real tasks across m624, m516, m610-612, m590. We grow with the task pool, not with the market.

§7 · Monthly external audit

From day 30, every month an independent auditor (m562-style) reviews:

  • Grep consistency between evidence claims and the underlying contribution log.
  • Whether reviewer decline rate held the ≥30% floor.
  • Whether the payment firewall held (reviewers had no payment-status visibility).
  • Whether the case library contains any fabrication or over-claim.
  • Whether any compliance gate was bypassed.

The audit result, de-identified, is published to /quality. No US international-student service publishes its own self-audit. We will.

§8 · The long-term assets

The North Star is not revenue. It is three compounding assets:

  • Case library density. Every completed-sprint student adds one L3+ anchor card.
  • Alumni network density. Three-to-five years out, these students land in their tracks and become second-generation recommendation pool.
  • Anchor-doctrine cross-domain proof. The first successful application of m610-624 evidence-anchor doctrine outside cancer.

§9 · Entity and liability

Before any of these scenarios goes live, a compliance gate must sign off:

  • Paid services to a minor (under 18) — minor consent + parental co-signature required.
  • Storage of visa-status PII — storage location, encryption standard, retention policy must be written.
  • Cross-border transmission of parent data — PIPL standard contract (or equivalent) confirmed.
  • Delivery of an evidence packet to a real scholar — scholar-side data-use policy must be signed.

§10 · Revision process

Charter revisions are drafted in _drafts/CHARTER_v0.X_draft.md, ACK'd by the owner in OWNER_ACTION_REQUIRED.md, and only then merged. Any unauthorized edit to CHARTER.md by an AI agent is a redline violation (Item 6 of the seven owner-only actions).
